Em Canarana, inédita programação irá comemorar este cinco de junho
Um evento multidisciplinar, envolvendo diversos segmentos da população da cidade, com atividades de educação socioambiental, da Campanha Y Ikatu Xingu (www.yikatuxingu.org.br) comemorará o Dia mundial do Meio Ambiente.
Desta forma, o ISA - Instituto Socioambiental, na sub sede de Canarana-MT, levará informações envolvendo crianças, jovens, adultos e pessoas da melhor idade, além da comundiade em geral, para celebrar este cinco de junho, Dia Mundial do Meio ambiente.A data, que é comemorada há trinta e sete anos, após a primeira discussão sobre o tema, derivou de um encontro realizado pela ONU (Organização das Nações Unidas), em 1972, e que a partir desta data ficou conhecido mundialmente como "O Dia Mundial do Meio Ambiente".
A programação oferecida aos moradores de Canarana tem início às sete e meia da manhã, com uma Parada Ambiental, em frente a agência do Banco do Brasil, onde serão distribuídas sacolas de lixo para automóveis, uma medida que visa estimular a mudança de atitude, quanto ao lixo jogado dos carros, diretamente nas vias públicas.
Na sequência, às nove horas, será oferecido um "Café Ambiental", na sede do Sindicato Rural, juntamente com a palestra: "ZOneamento Socio Sócio Econômico Ecológico, Código Florestal e Amazônia: oportunidade e desafios para Canarana".
No período vespertino, a partir das quinze e trinta, será realizado um plantio agroflorestal, contando com a participação de dez representantes de cada escola existente na sede do município, totalizando nove escolas, e que acontecerá na Casa da Criança e EMEI Novo Lar.
Também presente no evento, um passeio ciclístico terá inicio às dezesseis horas e trinta minutos, com a saída prevista em frente ao Ginásio de Esportes Pedro Cancian.
O evento fecha com chave de ouro, culminando com a chegada do passeio ciclístico, e o show da Companhia de Dança WF, a apresentação teatral de Marcelo Ruiz, os cantores Mineiro e Graciano, e também, animação no local, onde o atleta Leandro Pereira (que é Campeão Municipal de Mountain Bike e patrocinado pela campanha Y Ikatu Xingu), sorteará diversos brindes, na avenida Rio Grande do Sul, em frente a Choperia Pingüim.
No ISA, a organização deste evento ficou a cargo de Cristina Velásquez, Luciana de Luci e Osvaldo Souza, em colaboração com toda a equipe local. E compartilhou desta organização, a Prefeitura Municipal de Canarana, através da Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura e o IPAM (Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amazônia). Também apóiam este evento: as Secretarias Municipais de Educação, Esportes, e também Saúde, o Sindicato Rural de Canarana, a Casa da Criança, a Choperia Pingüim, o SICREDI, a Cia de Dança WF, a Polícia Militar de Mato Grosso, a equipe de Mountain Bike de Canarana, a empresa Agro Amazonia, a ARDAVA e o Supermercado Três Passos .
